Job Summary
General Laborer/shop assistant responsible for operating woodworking machinery and hand tools, understanding company product lines, machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques, following quality and safety standards, maintaining shop equipment according to schedule, understanding cut lists for daily jobs, and performing additional tasks as defined by the Production Manager to support fabrication and installation of closets and related systems.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in woodworking or cabinet-making fields preferred (32mm systems)
- Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Some prior woodworking experience is preferred but not required
