Job Summary
Sand and fix imperfections on door slabs to prepare them for painting, then paint and stain the product while monitoring daily work orders. Maintain shop and paint equipment, ensure paint is ordered timely, and operate automated production line machinery. Pass forklift operator training and follow all safety rules including lock out/tag out procedures. Read written instructions, solve problems analytically, and work accurately in a physically demanding warehouse environment. High school diploma required; vocational paint experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read and write so that written instructions can be easily followed and that corrections and needed information can be easily filled.
- Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
- Must be able to pass our forklift operators test after a normal training procedure.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Need to pay very close attention to detail.
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to operate automated production line machinery.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be willing to work outside of normal business hours to meet the customer's needs.
- Appropriate safety gear (e.g., safety glasses, ear protection) is required at all times.

- Candidates may be required to undergo pre-employment drug testing and background checks as part of the hiring process, unless restricted by applicable state or local laws.
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational school and auto body paint experience a plus.
- Experience in millwork and finish work is a plus.
- Spray equipment and knowledge of painting in a production line environment is preferred.
