General Labor - 1st shift

Under the direction of the Supervisor, the General Labor employee is responsible for identifying, assembling, packing, sorting, painting, grinding and separating parts by hand in accordance with company policies and procedures. Load and unload parts to and from the paint line; check parts off the paint line, ensuring finished pieces are prepped for shipping; perform daily quality checks; pack materials meeting quality standards; drive forklift (if certified) to move parts around the plant; work on the assembly line if required; check work area for hazards; complete required paperwork (paper and electronic); leave the work area clean and safe at shift end. Education: high school degree preferred; experience in manufacturing preferred; measuring with ruler and tape; bilingual English/Spanish helpful.
