Job Summary
Conduct reviews on program portfolios to evaluate alternative plans, improve systems engineering processes, and manage technical baselines. Design and perform system-level tests to assure subsystem performance meets specifications, while preparing technical documents defining system characteristics. Validate systems by developing criteria and procedures, analyzing major engineering results, and providing engineering support for acquisition, development, integration, and operations oversight. Implement Digital Engineering, Digital Thread, and Digital Twin techniques across the system lifecycle, supporting risk management activities per Air Force SEAM processes. Capable of performing trade space analysis, set-based design, and cost versus capability trade-off analysis.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a technical engineering role
- Ability to Integrate with other organizations/teams
- Ability to develop a highly effective working relationship with the customer
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience implementing, troubleshooting and supporting Unix/Linux operating system and web servers
- Experience working with agile methodology
- Knowledge in multiple programming languages
- Experience scripting, writing, and modifying code to improve monitoring/deployment is a plus
- Excellent customer service, leadership, communication, and interface skills
