Job Summary

Integrate mechanical assemblies, electrical components, and wiring into completed systems while performing system-level assembly, fit-up, and installation tasks. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to assist with routing and securing cabling. Perform basic functional checks, system testing, and checkout, then troubleshoot integration issues and report discrepancies. Coordinate with electricians, assemblers, and QA/Safety personnel during activities, using hand and power tools safely while following OSHA regulations and maintaining a clean work area. Document work performed and integration results as required. Support rework, modifications, and late-stage configuration changes. This role serves as the UL Manufacturer Technical Representative, requiring the UL Manufacturers Test and 2–4 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or systems integration roles.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • The Electrical I&C Technician will serve as the UL Manufacturer Technical Representative and must be able to pass the UL Manufacturers Test
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or systems integration roles
  • Mechanical aptitude with basic electrical familiarity
  • Ability to read and follow drawings, schematics, and instructions
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic measurement equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience integrating electrical panels, enclosures, or industrial equipment
  • Familiarity with control wiring, sensors, and field devices
  • Experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial environment
  • Exposure to system testing, commissioning, or troubleshooting activities
  • Experience supporting regulated or government‑contracted projects
