General Inpatient Registered Nurse, Hospice

Deliver end-of-life care and hospice services to patients in the Health System Inpatient Hospice setting, implementing plans for comfortable dying, self-determined life closure, and effective grieving. Assist in determining care level changes through collaboration with the Attending Physician or Medical Director based on assessments. Maintain patient dignity while supporting unique spiritual and cultural beliefs, including disposition of medications and funeral home notifications. Complete clinical documentation per agency protocol and Medicare guidelines, attend interdisciplinary team meetings for needs evaluation, and provide referral information to ensure optimal transitions from hospital to discharge. Requires Registered Nurse status with a Bachelor's degree preferred, minimum three years inpatient experience, and ability to work 3 12-hr or 4 10-hr shifts.
