Job Summary
General Helper position performing quality checks, material setup, assisting crew members and maintaining a clean, organized space; duties include reviewing work schedule, preparing operations, maintaining equipment and paperwork, assisting with machinery operations, meeting production and quality goals, adhering to safety and confidentiality standards, and handling special projects as needed. Requires good communication, teamwork, safety compliance, basic computer/inventory skills, ability to lift, read a tape measure, and possibly operate a forklift/clamp truck; shift is typically second shift in a manufacturing environment with varied tasks and physical demands.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year manufacturing experience preferred
- Good computer skills, ability to track inventory in a computer
- Able to communicate with all team members and adhere to safety regulations
- Must be team player, organized and detail oriented
- Able to multi task in an environment with frequent changing priorities
- Able to read a tape measure and use a wrench
- Ability to operate a fork truck and/or clamp truck is preferred
