Job Summary
Load the oven, fill bakery racks with bread/bun pans, physically move bread/bun racks in and out of proof box, physically push/pull pan carts over to bread/bun conveyor, load and unload empty pans both on and off conveyor. Must be able to work weekends and holidays, in a high heat environment, and follow food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team, follow verbal and written instructions, and adhere to safe work practices in a fast-paced setting. Post-offer background check, physical, drug/alcohol screen, and lifting assessment required. Physical requirements include walking/standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs. The employer is Alpha Baking Company, Inc., with locations in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, and operates brands such as S. Rosen’s, MaryAnn, Natural Ovens Bakery, Kreamo, and Golden Hearth.

- Must be able to tolerate working in a hot humid environment
