Job Summary
Lead and supervise crews performing utility line clearance for Lorain-Medina Rural Electric in Ohio. Manage crew leaders, field personnel, and equipment; plan and execute assigned work; organize and allocate crews and equipment for efficient operation; maintain records; oversee hiring and training of Davey Tree employees in the territory; enforce policies and procedures and investigate accidents. Requires outdoor work, CDL holder or climbing experience preferred, and a valid driver’s license; hourly pay is $30 with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement.
Required Qualifications
- valid driver1s license
- CDL Class A or B with Air Brake Endorsement (preferred)
- line clearance experience or related tree work (preferred)
- ISA Certified Arborist®, ISA Certified Tree Worker®, TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional® (preferred)
- OSHA training
- Electrical Hazard Awareness Program
- Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course (upon hire)
