Job Summary
General Foreman leads craft foremen and skilled teams during refinery operations, turnarounds, and maintenance activities; directs day-to-day field execution, coordinates labor, materials, equipment, and work sequencing to keep tasks on schedule; enforces site safety policies, permit-to-work requirements, and leads safety meetings and job hazard analyses; reviews blueprints and technical drawings, maintains documentation, and provides coaching and performance feedback to craft personnel; ensures compliance with OSHA, refinery regulations, and applicable industry standards; requires refinery or petrochemical experience, multi-craft/turnaround experience, SAP or scheduling tools knowledge, strong leadership and communication skills, and US work authorization.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- License/Certification: Valid driver's license and ability to meet site access requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of industrial or refinery experience in a skilled craft trade or maintenance environment.
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (Foreman or higher)
