Job Summary
General Food Service Worker responsible for setting up food-service areas, preparing and serving hot and cold meals and beverages, operating kitchen and service-area equipment under detailed instruction, replenishing serving stations, and performing cleaning and sanitizing duties. Roles may include cashiering and greeting guests, with a schedule on first shift from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Requires basic reading and math skills and ability to communicate in the primary language(s) used by guests; prior high school graduate or equivalent preferred. Emphasis on maintaining sanitary handling, portion control, and efficient customer service in a campus or institutional food-service environment.
