Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, electrical systems, and general construction elements while performing handyman tasks and laminate countertop repairs. Identify and resolve issues in retail, bank, restaurant, and healthcare facilities, then communicate repair procedures to clients to minimize downtime. Perform routine preventive maintenance, maintain detailed service records and invoices, and manage tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory. Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards while traveling daily to sites within the Tampa, Florida territory.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Must pass a satisfactory background screening
- Ability to lift and carry 50–75 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance or heavy-lift equipment
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in various environments
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods
- Willingness to travel daily to work sites within the assigned Tampa / Florida territory
- Ability to work safely around electrical, steam, and high-heat units with appropriate safety equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Technical or vocational training in plumbing, electrical, construction, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, general construction, and/or handyman work
- Experience with laminate countertop installation or repair
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general construction
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Relevant certifications in plumbing, electrical, or construction trades
