Job Summary
Livestock Assistant to support the sheep exit phase and transition into cattle operations at Lincs Cattle. Responsibilities include day-to-day welfare and handling of sheep during wind-down, health treatments, biosecurity, and record-keeping, followed by transition to cattle husbandry with feeding, health checks, and general care. Requires flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, a proactive attitude toward learning new husbandry approaches, and the ability to work outdoors in all conditions. Collaborates with the wider farming team to support overall enterprise development.
Required Qualifications
- Practical livestock experience (sheep, cattle, or mixed farming preferred)
- Operate machinery and equipment safely (training provided where required)
- Maintain accurate records of livestock and farm activities
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors in all conditions
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
