General Farm Laborer-Ridge Crest

General Farm Laborer position reporting to the Grow Farm Manager. Responsible for assisting with daily farm operations, sanitizing and disinfecting turkey production facilities and equipment, maintaining buildings and equipment, and ensuring the health and wellbeing of turkeys on the grow farm. Responsibilities include following biosecurity, animal welfare, and safety rules; working in a team; using a variety of tools and equipment; lifting 50lbs or more; working with live animals; organizing and prioritizing tasks; performing minor equipment repairs; ensuring feeding and watering needs are met; maintaining a safe and clean work environment; conducting daily walk-throughs to monitor traps and dead birds; and performing other duties as assigned. Must be able to work extended hours and be exposed to dust, cold, humidity, heat, chemicals, and fumes.
