Job Summary
Perform thorough cleaning, polishing, and upkeep of aircraft interiors, exteriors, exhaust stacks, boots, and the Pompano Beach facility and ramp areas. Conduct routine inspections to identify repair needs, document completed tasks, and report discrepancies. Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule detailing services, clean hangars, and assist with minor facility repairs. Deliver and pick up aircraft parts, tow aircraft, fuel aircraft, and move heavy equipment as needed. Coordinate vendor quotes and bids, take customers to the airport or hotel, and perform other duties as assigned by management. Requires experience in aircraft detailing, familiarity with aviation standards, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Salary ranges from $22.00 to $24.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in aircraft detailing or comparable field
- Familiarity with aviation industry standards and practices
- Certifications related to aircraft maintenance or detailing or cleaning
- Ability to operate specialized cleaning equipment
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver heavy equipment and materials
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Must have a clean driving record
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift experience a plus or be willing to train
