Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive construction administration, including quality assurance field checks and schedule compliance monitoring for multi-scale military facilities. Formulate technical specifications, project requirements, and detailed cost estimations while reviewing complex submittals, RFIs, and engineering records. Analyze project claims, variance requests, and proposed structural modifications to ensure alignment with rigid engineering standards and regulatory guidelines. Deliver multi-disciplinary technical expertise across civil, architectural, electrical, mechanical, and structural disciplines, facilitating formal project conferences and stakeholder alignment meetings. Maintain active Secret security clearance and US citizenship; requires valid driver's license and proficiency in GIS and administrative productivity tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution in one of the following specific fields: Engineering degree from an ABET-approved program, Architecture degree from an NAAB-approved program, or Construction Management degree with a heavy focus on engineering principles and field practices
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in project design, facility construction, or comprehensive project development
  • Must possess and maintain an active Secret security clearance
  • United States citizenship
  • Valid state-issued driver's license to travel independently across local construction and job sites
  • Advanced conceptual knowledge of civil, architectural, electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering concepts
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting multi-layered architectural and engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
  • Expert capability to plan, organize, and lead multi-disciplinary teams through complex structural studies and construction life cycles
  • Strong capability to negotiate technical adjustments when proposals involve substantial capital or challenge established concepts
  • Full understanding of regulatory inspection protocols, risk reduction strategies, and construction industry safety procedures
  • Mastery of administrative productivity tools including word processing, complex spreadsheet calculations, and project tracking databases
  • Functional capability to interpret, reference, and navigate Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
  • Highly proficient in business software applications (i.e.: Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong ability to lead, guide, and mentor personnel and multi-task
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 20-50 lbs
