Job Summary
Provide clinical care across a full spectrum of endocrine conditions including thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, bone, gonadal, and metabolic disorders, in addition to diabetes. Participate in teaching duties for six Endocrinology fellows, rotating residents, and medical students; collaborate in a new joint endocrine/obstetric clinic and telemedicine initiatives. Work within a team of sixteen physicians, ten PAs/nurse practitioners, and dietitians, contributing to research activities and leveraging Epic for documentation and workflow to support patient care. Engage in team-based care models and ongoing professional development within an academic health system; Charleston-based practice with strong community and academic ties.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology
- Academic Orientation, interest in teaching, and a passion for outreach
- Providing exceptional patient care
