Job Summary
Deliver high-quality music instruction for private lessons and shows, ensuring students master fundamentals beyond song repertoire. Create and document thoughtful lesson plans while actively engaging students in keys, vocals, guitar, bass, and drums. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and remain visible and accessible throughout the school. Assist in rehearsals, basic maintenance, and fill in for canceled lessons as needed. This role requires 3+ years of professional teaching or performing experience, strong music theory knowledge, and excellent customer relations skills.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience teaching and/or performing music professionally
- Knowledge of music theory and curriculum design
- Excellent ability to deal well with a wide range of customers and other people
- Strong organizational skills
- Very strong customer relations skills
- Resourceful and good problem-solver
- Works well under pressure
- Good judgment a must
- Passion for teaching
