Job Summary
The General Electrical Technician will maintain, repair and troubleshoot all automated equipment in the plant. Key responsibilities include reading electrical/hydraulic blueprints, demonstrating knowledge of Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE Fanuc PLCs & MMI systems, and understanding AC and DC Circuits. The role requires the ability to calculate and install electrical power requirements, relocate equipment, and assist in mechanical repairs while executing preventative maintenance procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 5 or more years of Industrial Electrician experience in manufacturing
- Read electrical/hydraulic blueprints
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE Fanuc PLCs & MMI systems
- Intermediate Level understanding of AC and DC Circuits
- Ability to troubleshoot Circuits and perform PMs on Power distribution devices
- Knowledge of National Electrical Codes
- Hydraulic/Pneumatic troubleshooting skills
