Job Summary
Assist licensed staff in implementing a specific program for individual students or small groups. Perform a variety of instructional duties, including behavior management techniques, and support effective communication with students, parents, and teachers. Follow general oral and written instructions, work independently, take initiative, and meet the Highly Qualified Paraprofessional requirements. Required Qualifications
- Possess an associate's (or higher) degree, or
- Complete two years of study at an institute of higher education with a minimum of 72 quarter college credits or 48 semester college credits, or
- Pass a local assessment test demonstrating basic knowledge of reading, writing and mathematics skills. (Accuplacer)
