Job Summary
General Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at Cielo Azul Elementary School. Responsibilities include coordinating the teaching program with site-based goals and district objectives, implementing curricula to meet state standards, arranging the classroom for optimal learning and safety, applying conflict resolution skills, maintaining a professional and confidential environment, setting and documenting goals for student achievement, delivering appropriate instructional activities, maintaining student performance/attendance records, completing required reports and report cards on time, communicating with parents/guardians, attending staff meetings and trainings, and demonstrating technology competencies. Work hours are those established in the 190-day contract; additional hours may be assigned by the principal per collective bargaining parameters. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- Current New Mexico Department of Education license appropriate to the teaching assignment with applicable endorsements or ability to obtain proper licensure within 90 days of hire
- Copy of Professional License OR copy of licensure application with money order
- Copy of transcript from each crediting college or university
