Job Summary
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment while supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities. Assist the Lead Teacher in preparing and distributing meals, supporting children with self-help skills like toileting and dressing. Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum through play-based experiences, arts and crafts, and educational games. Observe and document children's progress, reporting concerns to the Lead Teacher, and communicate effectively with parents and guardians. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. This role supports young learners in a nurturing environment within our early childhood educational setting.
Required Qualifications
- First Aid and CPR certification is required
Desired Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent and an associate's degree in early childhood education or a related field are preferred
- Experience working with young children in an early childhood educational setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, flexibility, and love for working with young children
