Job Summary
Supervise students in a positive manner while working independently in a general education classroom setting. Communicate effectively with students and adults, making appropriate decisions quickly. Provide direct support under the guidance of certified teachers. This role requires a two-year degree or higher, or a passing score on the MN approved ParaPro assessment, along with CPR certification and First Aid training. One year of experience working with children in a supervisory capacity is preferred. The position involves five hours daily from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with 178 working days and six paid holidays. Required Qualifications
- Two year degree or higher
- 60 credits toward a degree
- obtain a passing score on the MN approved assessment ParaPro test
- One year experience working with children in a supervisory capacity
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and adults
- Ability to make appropriate decisions quickly and work independently
- Ability to supervise students in a positive manner
