Job Summary
Supervise students across hallways, lunchrooms, playgrounds, and classrooms while practicing skills with small groups. Work with students on academic skills, assist teachers in field trip supervision, and help maintain classrooms and supply inventories. Monitor material needs, report unusual incidents, and ensure student work areas remain orderly. Maintain a reliable attendance record and uphold confidentiality. Perform occasional duties outside the school day and operate a motor vehicle for site travel. This part-time role supports the building principal and collaborates with teachers to meet student needs.
Required Qualifications
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to interact positively with students, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of district policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to see and hear within normal limits with or without corrective lenses or hearing aids.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle used to travel between sites.
- Drug, tobacco, and alcohol-free while working.
Desired Qualifications
- Some experience with supervising children preferred.
