Job Summary
Develop, teach, and evaluate general education courses while advising and mentoring students against course objectives and published schedules. Monitor student performance, deliver personalized grading within five days of the week's end, and provide written feedback for non-perfect scores. Post weekly announcements and participate in discussion boards with substantive replies, then run office hours or tutorials to identify support for at-risk students. Complete annual professional development. This remote position includes one required trip per year and an orientation trip to Salt Lake City, Utah.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's Degree in your teaching domain from an accredited institution (or equivalent experience)
- At least 18 credit hours of direct study in the discipline you'll be teaching
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in higher education
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience
- All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen
