Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in the Adult ER at Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg. Responsible for providing professional nursing services including independent nursing tasks, administration of prescribed treatments, leadership within the healthcare team, and coordinating patient care and discharge. Requires CRNM registration, CPR at provider level, and compliance with related acts and standards; orientation and training for emergency nursing are included, with potential practice enhancements such as ENO and ACLS/PALS assets. Strong communication, critical thinking, and ability to work in a high-demand, fast-paced environment are essential. Preference for Indigenous language competence and knowledge of Indigenous customs is noted. This is a full-time, in-person ER nursing role with day and night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.
