Job Summary
RN provides professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. Responsibilities include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, a leadership role within the healthcare team, and coordinating patient care and discharge. Requires two years of acute care medical/surgical experience; PACU/Critical care experience preferred. Must be graduate of an approved RN program and maintain CRNM registration with current BLS. In-person role with Day/Night/Weekend shifts and standby coverage; ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations. Education and professional certification requirements include CRNM registration and BLS, with preference for Indigenous language knowledge and Indigenous community understanding.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
- Current BLS at the health care provider level
- CRNM registration or proof of registration
- Ability to work in a demanding and stressful environment
- PACU/Critical care experience preferred (not required)
- Satisfactory employment record
