Job Summary
General Duty Medical Laboratory Technologist responsible for clinical analysis and reporting on patient samples according to established protocols; assist in general lab projects (SOPs, chemical inventories); maintain a safe environment and ensure compliance with quality assurance programs; travel to Ste Anne and St. Pierre as needed; must have current registration with CMLTM and English proficiency; operate in a team-oriented, detail-focused manner with the ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality; shifts include days, nights, weekends, and standby/on-call as required; in-person role in Steinbach with potential work at other sites.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program
- Current registration or eligible for registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Manitoba (CMLTM)
- Current membership with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) considered an asset
