Job Summary
Performs standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations utilizing proper patient positioning, identification and exposure techniques. Operates radiology equipment and reviews patient body size, thickness, age and condition to determine appropriate technique. Sets up immobilization and radiation protection devices, assists physicians with procedures, and maintains related records. Reports equipment malfunctions and participates in QA/QC procedures. Participates in the educational training of students in a clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Radiologic Technology (Required)
- Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body
- Certified Radiology Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
