Job Summary
General Dentist duties include diagnosing and treating diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums, and related oral structures; perform exams using x-rays and diagnostic tools; clean, fill, extract, and replace teeth; provide preventive dental services and patient education; coordinate laboratory services; ensure safety protocols (OSHA/Bloodborne pathogens); participate in morning huddles, chart reviews, and routine office meetings; maintain professional communication and quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree
- Licensed in state where practicing or able to obtain licensure upon graduation
- Current BLS and CPR certificate
- Completion of a general practice residency (GPR) or AE GD (AEGD) preferred
