Job Summary
General Dentist position in Brooksville, FL. Provide general dentistry services including diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums and related oral structures. Perform exams with x-ray and diagnostic procedures; clean, fill, extract and replace teeth using appropriate instruments and dental appliances; provide preventive dental services and patient education in oral/dental hygiene; coordinate laboratory services for the dental office; adhere to safety protocols including OSHA/Bloodborne pathogen requirements; participate in morning huddles, chart reviews, and routine office meetings; ensure all duties comply with applicable state laws and regulations. Requires DDS or DMD, active state licensure or ability to obtain licensure, and BLS/CPR certification; GPR/AEGD residency preferred. Working conditions are typical for a dental office with a clean, well-lit, quiet environment.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree
- Licensed in the state of practice or ability to obtain licensure upon graduation
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certificate
- Completion of a General Practice Residency (GPR) or Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) preferred
