Job Summary
General Dentist position in Sprayberry, responsible for delivering comprehensive dentistry including diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums and related oral structures. Duties include examining patients using x-rays and diagnostic procedures, performing procedures to clean, fill, extract and replace teeth, providing preventive dental services and patient education, coordinating laboratory services, ensuring safety protocols (OSHA/Bloodborne pathogen requirements), participating in morning huddles and chart reviews, and performing all other duties allowed under state laws. Requirements include a DDS/DMD, active licensure (or ability to obtain licensure), BLS/CPR certification, and preferred completion of GPR/AEGD residency; strong communication and commitment to quality patient care expected.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree
- licensed in state or ability to obtain licensure upon graduation
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certificate
- Completion of a general practice residency (GPR) or advanced education general dentistry residency (AEGD) preferred
