Job Summary
Examine patients to determine oral conditions using x-rays and diagnostic instruments. Clean, fill, extract, and replace teeth with rotary and hand instruments while providing preventive hygiene education. Coordinate laboratory services and adhere to safety protocols including OSHA and bloodborne pathogen requirements. Participate in morning huddles, chart reviews, and routine office meetings. Licensed general dentists must hold a DDS or DMD degree, valid state licensure, and current BLS/CPR certification. Completion of a general practice or advanced education residency is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree
- Licensed in state in which practicing
- Ability to obtain licensure upon graduation
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
- Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a general practice residency (GPR)
- Completion of an advanced education general dentistry residency (AEGD)
