Job Summary
Provide comprehensive dental care to residents, including dentures, extractions, fillings, restorative treatment, and preventive diagnostics. Collaborate with a Registered Dental Assistant to confirm appointments, obtain consents, and manage portable equipment setup. Work with a Registered Dental Hygienist to identify oral health changes during monthly visits. Enter treatment details into our online system and discuss plans with responsible parties. Focus on patient care with no billing or extensive paperwork required. This part-time role offers 1–2 days per week with mileage reimbursement for travel to long-term care facilities in San Antonio.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Active Texas Dental License
- Current CPR/BLS and DEA certification
- Must be willing to travel
- Must be available for 1–2 days per week
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual
- Experience with geriatric dentistry
- Experience with mobile dentistry
