Examine patients to determine the nature of conditions affecting teeth, gums, and oral structures using x-rays, dental instruments, and diagnostic procedures. Clean, fill, extract, and replace teeth with rotary and hand instruments, dental appliances, medications, and surgical implements. Provide preventive dental services and education in oral and dental hygiene while coordinating laboratory services for the office. Adhere to safety protocols and processes including ensuring protective equipment is utilized and OSHA/Bloodborne pathogen requirements are followed. Participate in morning huddles, chart reviews, and routine office meetings. Maintain a professional demeanor with patients and ensure all duties comply with applicable state laws and regulations.
