Job Summary
Provide comprehensive general dentistry to all ages, including preventive, diagnostic, restorative, and urgent care for individuals with diverse and often complex oral health needs. Work alongside interdisciplinary colleagues to address social, behavioral, and medical factors impacting oral health while developing meaningful, long-term relationships with patients. Practice at the full scope of general dentistry in an outpatient setting featuring state-of-the-art technology and a highly trained clinical team. Live in Crescent City, California, in a coastal community defined by its bay and redwoods. Requires a current, unrestricted California dental license, DEA registration, and CPR/BLS certification. Compensation ranges from $201,104.48 to $230,262.41 with flexible 10-hour shifts and no hospital call.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school
- Current, unrestricted California dental license
- Current DEA registration
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Valid California driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Completion of an accredited General Practice Residency (GPR) or Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program
- Two to five years of clinical experience
- CAP-exempt visa sponsorship available
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited General Practice Residency (GPR) or Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program preferred
- Two to five years of clinical experience preferred, particularly in community health, public health, rural practice, or caring for underserved populations
- Opportunity to participate in our optional one-year AEGD Residency Program with NYU Langone which holds an 80% post-residency retention rate at ODCHC
