Job Summary
General Dentist provides comprehensive dentistry services including diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums and related oral structures. Responsibilities include examining patients, utilizing x-rays and diagnostic procedures; cleaning, fillings, extractions, and replacements of teeth using dental instruments and implants; providing preventive dental services and patient education; coordinating laboratory services; adhering to safety protocols including OSHA/Bloodborne pathogen requirements; participating in morning huddles and routine office meetings; and performing all duties permissible under state laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree
- Licensed in state where practicing or ability to obtain licensure upon graduation
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certificate
