Examine patients to determine the nature of conditions affecting teeth, gums, and oral structures using x-rays and diagnostic procedures. Clean, fill, extract, and replace teeth with rotary and hand instruments, dental appliances, medications, and surgical implements. Provide preventive dental services and education in oral and dental hygiene. Coordinate laboratory services for the dental office and adhere to safety protocols, including OSHA and bloodborne pathogen requirements. Participate in morning huddles, chart reviews, and routine office meetings. Maintain a professional demeanor while educating patients on dental health. Requires a DDS or DMD degree, state licensure, and current BLS/CPR certification.
