Job Summary
Licensed General Dentist provides general dentistry services including diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums and related oral structures. Performs patient examinations using x-rays and diagnostic procedures; cleans, fills, extracts and replaces teeth with dental instruments and surgical implements; delivers preventive dental services and education in oral/dental hygiene; coordinates laboratory services; adheres to safety protocols including OSHA/Bloodborne pathogen standards; participates in morning huddles, chart reviews, and routine office meetings; all duties allowed under applicable state laws/regulations.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree
- Licensed in state of practice or eligible for licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification
- Completion of a General Practice Residency (GPR) or Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) preferred
