Job Summary
General Dentist position in Apopka, FL. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive general dentistry, diagnosing and treating diseases and conditions of teeth and related oral structures, examining patients with diagnostic tools (x-rays and instruments), performing procedures such as cleaning, fillings, extractions, and replacements, providing preventive care and patient education, coordinating laboratory services, adhering to safety/OSHA requirements, and participating in morning huddles and chart reviews. Requires a DDS or DMD and state licensure or eligibility, plus BLS/CPR certification; GPR/AEGD preferred for advanced training.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree
- licensed in state in which practicing or ability to obtain licensure upon graduation
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification
- Completion of a general practice residency (GPR) or Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) preferred
