Job Summary
General Custodian responsible for cleaning, maintaining a safe and orderly school environment; tasks include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, assisting with room setups, and reporting safety or maintenance needs to supervisory staff. Must follow established procedures, maintain a professional appearance, and work with staff and administration. Knowledge of custodial techniques, OSHA regulations, safe operation of cleaning tools, and strong communication and interpersonal skills are required. The role involves indoor/outdoor duties, potential evening or overtime for events or emergencies, and requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs (up to 90 lbs occasionally) and operate cleaning equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED preferred. Must be 18 years old.
