Job Summary
Lead the Legal Function by establishing and scaling Sifflet's legal department across Europe and the US. Act as trusted advisor to the CEO, board, and leadership team on commercial contracts, corporate governance, and fundraising. Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise SaaS agreements, data processing agreements, and NDAs while ensuring compliance with GDPR, EU data/AI regulations, and security standards. Provide guidance on French labor law and support hiring and subsidiary setup in new markets. This role requires a French bar–certified lawyer with 8+ years of experience to balance risk with growth during global expansion.
Required Qualifications
- French bar–certified lawyer
- at least 8+ years of experience
- Deep expertise in French commercial law
- strong understanding of contract negotiation for enterprise SaaS
- Experience with corporate governance, fundraising, and data protection (GDPR)
- Full professional proficiency in French and English
