Job Summary
General Counsel for Connecticut Lottery Corporation directing the legal affairs of a quasi-public agency. Leads in-house legal matters including contract law, gaming law, compliance, procurement, and policy development; oversees procurement processes, manages outside counsel, and provides executive-level legal guidance to leadership and boards. Requires JD, active CT license, 8-10 years of experience, strong ethics and leadership, and expertise in procurement, regulatory matters, e-commerce, and gaming law; on-site presence in Wallingford, CT.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
- Active Connecticut law license
- Minimum eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience representing corporate entities or in-house legal leadership
Desired Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Connecticut
- 8-10 years of experience representing corporate entities or in-house senior legal leadership
- Knowledge of procurement law, public-sector contracting, and competitive solicitation processes (RFP/RFQ)
