Job Summary
Forensic GC/General Contractor Consultant to manage cost-related client matters and disputes, analyze third-party expert reports, and provide cost estimating strategies and breakdowns. The role involves using pricing databases to determine unit costs, testifying as an expert witness when needed, and leading the project team to meet deadlines and budget expectations from the Florida office. Requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (or equivalent experience), professional cost-estimation/GC credentials, and 5+ years of relevant construction-estimation experience. Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (or equivalent years of work experience)
- Professional credentials and certifications related to cost estimation, GC preferable
- 5+ years of work experience in construction estimation, preferably as estimator, engineer, scheduler, or project manager
- Ability to walk job sites during inspections, sometimes on uneven terrain while carrying construction tools or equipment (up to 30 pounds)
