Job Summary
Assist skilled tradespeople with on-site tasks, load and unload materials, and operate basic hand and power tools as directed. Prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials, perform measurements for layout and assembly, and support team members in mixing concrete, assembling scaffolding, and digging trenches. Follow all safety protocols and use protective equipment to ensure a safe work environment while maintaining equipment by cleaning and storing tools properly. This full-time role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and working outdoors in various weather conditions, with overtime available based on project deadlines. On-the-job training is provided for those eager to learn and grow within the company.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of general hands-on construction experience
- Knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Successful completion of the Duke Energy badging requirements
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable transportation
- Willing to Travel
- Ability to pass Background and Drug Screening
