Job Summary
Greet and check in applicants, verify identities, and confirm required documents to complete transactions while preventing customer back-ups. Maintain accessible written information on program requirements and enrollment processes to assist the public via phone or in person. Check applicant-supplied information by accessing government databases and notify inspection staff of any details that could adversely affect applications. Provide and compile daily performance reports reflecting activities performed by CBP officers and contractor staff. Schedule interview appointments in the Trusted Traveler Programs Internal system and assist the public with creating accounts, submitting online applications, activating membership cards, and updating address or license plate information. This onsite role in Boston, MA requires a U.S. citizen with a Tier 4 Public Trust background and two years of general administrative experience.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Willing to go through an intense background check
- Active Tier 4 Public Trust, or the ability to obtain and maintain one
- High school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
- Two (2) years of general administrative experience with customer interface
- Two (2) years of experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, PPT, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio)
- Two (2) years of related undergraduate study may substitute for experience
- Able to disclose COVID-19 vaccination status and abide by contract/department's COVID-19 guidance when accessing any facility
