Job Summary
Clerical Specialist supporting Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and IMF Pass & Identification Office. Responsible for assisting Naval personnel, contractors, and government civilians with obtaining passes and identification to access the base and sensitive areas. Performs badge issuance-related tasks, file/shred documents per government standards, communicate visit statuses, provide escort briefs, verify VR requirements and access, enroll CACs in AECS, issue emergency passes, maintain profiles and access controls, and ensure compliance with security procedures and training requirements. Strong focus on customer service, documentation, and adherence to security protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Literate in the English language
- Ability to maintain a regular work schedule (5 days a week, Mon-Fri.)
- Provide quality customer service
- Adequate problem-solving skills
- Adequate concentration/memory skills
- Adequate prioritization skills
- Ability to comprehend, learn, and accept instructions
- Ability to analyze and make decisions using sound judgement
- Ability to type 35 words per min
- Some experience working with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
- Skill in written and oral interpersonal communication to elicit needs
- Cognizance of surroundings
- Ability to organize physical and digital files
- Ability to support unplanned emergency badging as necessary
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to the Defense Information Security System (DISS)
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to PHNSY&IMF Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion (NNPI)/COI
