Job Summary
Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, extract carpets, and sanitize restrooms to maintain the daily cleanliness of assigned educational facility areas. Perform duties including window washing, desk cleaning, trash removal, and floor stripping as directed by the custodial supervisor. Work in a physically demanding environment requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work with varying temperatures. Earn $13/hour for full-time Monday-Friday shifts or part-time 4-hour rotations. Optional daily pay is available.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable transportation
- Background check
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull
- The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 25 pound on a frequent basis, up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
- Extensive walking and standing for the duration of the shift
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks with production and service time frames as established by the company
- Ability to work with various temperatures extreme from hot to cold
- Ability to work with others and take direction
- Previous cleaning experience
