Job Summary
Conduct facility cleaning by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming floors; clean restrooms, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors. Mix detergents to prepare cleaning solutions and gather empty trash. Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage. Requisition supplies and equipment as needed. Notify managers of major repairs or building operating system issues. Wear personal protective equipment when conditions warrant. Perform duties Monday through Friday in rotating shifts, including morning, afternoon, and evening blocks, with part-time availability for full-time hours. Must have a valid driver's license and pass a background check.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of six months of experience as a commercial general cleaner
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend common English vocabulary
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must pass background check
- Must be able to walk, stooping, climbing, pushing, pulling, heavy lifting (less than or equal to 50 pounds), bending, and working in awkward positions handling equipment and materials
- Employees will be required to wear personal protective equipment when conditions warrant
