General Cleaner

General Cleaner needed for 2nd shift (4pm-8pm) at Southern Cleaning Services. Responsibilities include cleaning building floors (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming), gathering and emptying trash, servicing and supplying restrooms, cleaning and polishing furniture and fixtures, cleaning windows/glass partitions/mirrors, dusting furniture/walls/machines, preparing cleaning solutions, steam-cleaning or shampooing carpets, stripping/sealing/finishing floors, cleaning laboratory equipment, following chemical safety procedures, monitoring building security, moving heavy furniture/equipment, notifying managers of repairs, removing snow from sidewalks/driveways/parking areas, requisitioning supplies, setting up decorations/tables/chairs/scaffolding for events, and maintaining flexibility to work weekends/holidays. Employment is described as temporary in nature and may include transfers between facilities. The role requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and perform physical tasks as described in the duties.
